Blinn College-Schulenburg offering national HVAC certification
Course starts Sept. 24 and offers NCCER Level 1 certification

The Blinn College-Schulenburg Campus is excited to announce a new, non-credit course designed to jumpstart careers in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry.
This 175-hour, $1,499 course will begin Sept. 24 and scholarships are available for eligible students. The class offers aspiring HVAC professionals the opportunity to earn National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Core and Level I certifications, paving the way for lucrative job opportunities nationwide.
Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-7 p.m., concluding on May 8, 2025. With these certifications, students will be well-equipped for a range of HVAC positions, meeting the industry's growing demand for skilled technicians.

The NCCER is renowned for its comprehensive training and credentialing programs, which span over 60 craft areas, including HVAC. The organization's standardized curriculum ensures that students receive top-quality education that meets the leading industry standards..
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay for HVAC mechanics and installers in 2023 was $57,300.
