Through Blinn's Arts Program, you can complete your Core Curriculum while developing your ability to plan, and to produce art while using visual principles design, , elements, and techniques in one or more visual arts media. Blinn arts graduates can enter the workforce immediately or transfer to the state's leading universities, including Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, Texas State, the University of Texas-San Antonio, the University of North Texas, and the University of Houston.
Degree Plan
This program is similar to the first two years of a typical arts program at a four-year college or university. It also provides flexibility for students desiring an associate’s degree to specialize the program to their individual interests.

The Associate of Arts in Arts is available online and on the Brenham, Bryan, RELLIS, Schulenburg, and Sealy campuses.
Blinn courses transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at universities across the nation and recent arts graduates have transferred to Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, Texas State, the University of Texas-San Antonio, the University of North Texas, and the University of Houston. Speak to an academic advisor at your university of choice to see how Blinn credits will apply toward your specific degree plan.
In addition to careers in the architecture industry, graduates are qualified for positions in land and project development, technical sales jobs focusing on building materials, systems, and equipment, or positions with government agencies or financial institutions.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, arts and design professionals earn an annual median salary of $48,220.
