Information for Current Students
In addition to reading through other important resources, students also can review their rights and responsibilities regarding their accommodations.
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) will email the letter of accommodation (LOA) to the student's Blinn email upon the student completing the online letter request form. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and at least one week during peak times of the year (first week of the semester, finals, etc.). Students should provide the letter of accommodation to their faculty and discuss the implementation of the accommodations. If there is a question or concern with any accommodation, please contact the Office of Disability Services as soon as possible.
It is the responsibility of the student to request services for each semester you are going to need accommodations. Every semester, students should renew accommodations by completing the online letter request form. College policy allows instructors one week to set up accommodations once presented with letters of accommodations. With that in mind, students need to submit documentation and schedules early in order to obtain services.
Requests for interpreter services should be completed immediately following your registration for classes in order to assure this accommodation is provided on the first day of class.
