Texas A&M Student Recreation Center Membership for Blinn Students
Blinn College students are eligible to purchase a membership to the Texas A&M University Student Recreation Center in College Station. This opportunity is available to all Blinn students, though it may be especially convenient for students attending classes on the Bryan Campus or at RELLIS.
Membership access and pricing depend on your Blinn enrollment status and whether you are also enrolled at Texas A&M University or through the RELLIS Academic Alliance.
How to Purchase a Membership
Blinn students can create an account and purchase a membership in one of two ways:
- Online: Create an account at
https://recconnect.tamu.edu/ - In person: Visit a Texas A&M Student Recreation Center location, where staff can help you set up an account and complete payment on site.
Important Membership Categories for Blinn Students
Your eligibility and pricing depend on your enrollment status. Review the sections below carefully to determine which category applies to you.
Blinn Students Co- or Dual-Enrolled with Texas A&M – College Station
Students who are co- or dual-enrolled with Texas A&M University should first check their Howdy portal to see whether they have been charged a Rec Sports Fee.
- Log in to Howdy
- Navigate to the Current Students tab
- Review your account charges
If you have been charged the Rec Sports Fee:
You do not need to purchase a separate membership.
If you have not been charged the Rec Sports Fee:
You are eligible to purchase a Continuing Student Membership.
Blinn TEAM and RELLIS Students
Blinn TEAM and RELLIS students are considered current Texas A&M students.
- These students are dual-enrolled at Blinn at RELLIS and Texas A&M University.
- Whether you pay the Rec Sports Fee depends on your course enrollment.
- Students should check their Howdy portal to confirm whether the fee has been assessed.
If you have not been charged the Rec Sports Fee, you are eligible for a Continuing Student Membership, with the following options:
Continuing Student Membership Rates
- One Semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer): $145
- Summer Session (Session I or II): $72.50
RELLIS Academic Alliance Students (System Universities)
Students admitted to the RELLIS Academic Alliance through a Texas A&M System university will pay one of the following rates:
- Blinn courses only:
Pay the Non-Affiliate rate. - At least one upper-division course with your system university:
Pay the Faculty/Staff rate listed under TAMU Affiliates.
Please note:
Eligibility for the discounted Faculty/Staff rate is confirmed after census, once Rec Sports receives official enrollment lists. Students must wait until after the census date to receive the discounted rate.
Other Blinn College Students (Non-Affiliate Membership)
Blinn students who are not dual-enrolled with Texas A&M University are eligible for a Non-Affiliate Membership.
Non-Affiliate Membership Rates
- Three Semester (Fall only): $725
- Two Semester (Fall or Spring): $515
- One Semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer): $275
Memberships prorate throughout their duration.
Patrons must be 18 years or older to purchase a Non-Affiliate membership.
