Securing Admission
Engineering students enrolled in Texas A&M Engineering at Blinn are selected from the freshman applicant pool by the Office of Admissions at Texas A&M University. Engineering students in this program can choose to remain co-enrolled for two years, taking their Texas A&M engineering courses on the Texas A&M Campus and their math and science courses on the RELLIS Campus in Bryan.
Engineering students in this program will apply for entry to a major as early as the end of the first year, having completed the required courses.
Texas A&M’s fall freshman application opens August 1, and the engineering priority deadline is October 15. The freshman application closes December 1. Texas A&M strictly adheres to deadlines, so be sure to plan early. Prospective students should follow all freshman application instructions and guidelines listed on the Texas A&M Office of Admissions website.
