Amendment to the Agreement for the Blinn College District Dual Credit Program
This Amendment to the Agreement for the Blinn College District Dual Credit Program ("Addendum") is made and entered into August 20, 2025 ("Addendum Effective Date") between Bryan Independent School District ("BISD"), and Blinn College District ("Blinn College").
WHEREAS, a Dual Credit Program Agreement ("Agreement") establishing a dual credit program (Blinn College) have entered into an Agreement, dated June 1, 2024, which established and governed the terms and conditions for students in the District's Bryan High School;
WHEREAS, BISD and Blinn College District wish to amend their Agreement to update the tuition and fees associated for ACC and HECH dual credit students.
NOW, THEREFORE, in confirmation of the established relationship between the parties and in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants, and conditions contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
Option 1. If any instructor who is a College or District employee assigns a letter grade or numeric score for a Dual Credit course, and if that letter grade or numeric score is sufficient for college credit according to the Blinn College District grading policy, then a student who receives that grade or numeric score shall receive both college credit and high school credit, provided he or she meets all applicable District and College requirements.
Option 2. Tuition for students enrolled in the Bryan ISD partnership will be $50 for a 3-hour credit course and $100 for a 4-hour credit course. HECH students will pay $0 for each course. HECH students will no longer have a debt to Blinn College for their coursework.
All other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party has caused this Addendum to be executed by its duly authorized representatives, effective as of the Addendum Effective Date.
