Amendment to the Agreement for the Blinn College District Dual Credit Program
This Amendment to the Agreement for the Blinn College District Dual Credit Program ("Addendum") is made and entered into August 25, 2025 ("Addendum Effective Date") between Bryan Independent School District ("BISD"), and Blinn College District ("Blinn College").
WHEREAS, Bryan Independent School District and Blinn College District (collectively, "Blinn College") have entered into an Agreement, dated June 1, 2024, which established a dual credit program to be operated at sites including James Earl Rudder High School,
WHEREAS, BISD and Blinn College District wish to amend the Agreement to update the tuition selection options for FACM and WECM dual credit courses;
NOW, THEREFORE, in confirmation of the established relationship between the parties and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree to the following updates as outlined below:
- Option 1: If a high school student is a College or Attendant employee, they will receive in-district tuition regardless of residency status.
- Option 2: If the student qualifies as an in-district resident, they will receive in-district tuition.
- Option 3: The partner school will complete a "Non-FAST rate selection" form to choose in-district, out-of-district, or non-resident tuition rates for all dual credit students at their high school for the academic year. Once selected, the rate will apply to all dual credit students for the academic year without exceptions.
Except as specifically amended by this Addendum, the Agreement remains unchanged and in full force and effect. This Addendum may be executed in counterparts, each of which is deemed an original, but all of which together constitute one and the same instrument.
