Health Sciences-Nursing
Program Description: This degree is awarded to students who complete 60 hours of credit in college-level courses. The courses provide a foundation for transfer and core completion, as well as meeting many of the required academics for Health Sciences programs.

Students interested in applying for competitive-entry health sciences programs at Blinn College may need a specific course. Recommendations may include, but are not limited to BCIS 1305, PSYC 2319, SOCI 2326, or any other core course not listed. Prerequisite courses for competitive entry programs may need to be taken at times different from the listing in the degree plan.

Transfer Information
This degree provides a pathway to transfer to a four-year college or university where students can earn a baccalaureate degree. Students are strongly encouraged to select a transfer destination by the time they have completed 30 semester credit hours.
